pysteps.nowcasts.interface.get_method(name)#

Return a callable function for computing nowcasts.

Description: Return a callable function for computing deterministic or ensemble precipitation nowcasts.

the LINDA method developed in [PCN21]

this approach computes local lagrangian probability forecasts of threshold exceedences

the S-PROG method described in [See03]

the STEPS stochastic nowcasting method described in [See03], [BPS06] and [SPN13]
